Housekeeping Associate Job Summary

The Housekeeping Associate reports to the Environmental Services Director and is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents, families, staff, and visitors. This includes cleaning common areas, resident units, and performing laundry duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleans resident units and common areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, and hallways
  • Performs laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding
  • Maintains a clean and organized laundry room
  • Communicates effectively with the Environmental Services Director and other staff
  • Advises the Environmental Services Director when supplies are needed

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Some maintenance experience preferred

Physical Requirements:
  • Physically able to bend, reach, and work in small areas
  • Physically able to push and pull equipment
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods

Working Conditions:
  • May be required to work weekends and holidays
  • May be subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, and conditions
