Job Summary

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in Hershey, Pennsylvania. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of standardized imaging procedures, setting up and adjusting related equipment and devices, and maintaining related records under the direction of the Senior Imaging Staff.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures on patients, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Set up and adjust MRI equipment, including coils and magnets, to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, including imaging protocols and results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) recognized Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Program or equivalent.
  • Current ARRT certification in MRI or equivalent.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
