About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist I to join our team at Penn State Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of standardized imaging procedures, setting up and adjusting related equipment and devices, and maintaining related records under the direction of the Senior Imaging Staff.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures on patients, ensuring accurate and safe imaging results
  • Set up and adjust MRI equipment, including coils and magnets, to ensure optimal image quality
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training
Requirements
  • Graduate of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography Program or ARRT recognized Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Program
  • Must pass the radiography ARRT registry within six (6) months of employment
  • Must pass the MRI ARRT registry within two (2) years of employment
  • Must pass the ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT registry within six (6) months of employment
