Physical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.
You will work collaboratively with other members of the interdisciplinary team to assess and evaluate patients' physical therapy needs, develop and implement treatment plans, and educate patients and their families on physical therapy techniques and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patients' physical therapy needs and develop treatment plans that reflect their age, situation, and discharge plan.
- Provide physical therapy services to patients, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions to improve their physical function and mobility.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with facility and practice guidelines.
- Supervise and mentor therapy and health care students to achieve stated performance expectations.
- Identify and implement performance improvement opportunities to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the English language.
- Basic skills in math and computer science.
- Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques to manage the rehabilitation population.
- Computer proficiency required, with Microsoft office applications preferred.
