Physical Therapy Assistant

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Sagamore Beach, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality patient care and support our interdisciplinary team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our physical therapists to develop and implement treatment plans, educate patients and families, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and evaluate patients' physical therapy needs and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physical therapists.
- Provide direct patient care, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions as prescribed by physical therapists.
- Educate patients and families on physical therapy techniques, exercises, and self-care strategies.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by maintaining open communication with colleagues and providing assistance as needed.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Licensed (and in good standing) as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the English language.
- Basic skills in math and computer science.
- Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques to manage the rehabilitation population.
- Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of service delivery and attention to detail.
