About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Leader to join our Hospital Medicine team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Hospitalist Physician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and leading our team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Comprehensive Patient Care: You will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, including attending interdisciplinary rounds, communicating with the care team, and ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
  • Rend Medical Services: As a Hospitalist Physician, you will provide quality medical services, including referrals, follow-up care, and hospitalization, in accordance with your qualifications as an internal medicine or family practice physician.
  • Support Hospital Medical Staff: You will work closely with hospital medical staff and other area physicians to provide follow-up care for patients in the outpatient realm and support the inpatient experience.
  • Communicate Effectively: You will communicate health status and treatment plans to patients, families, and hospital staff, ensuring seamless care transitions.
  • Document Patient Information: You will document patient information completely for care and billing purposes, and assist in reviewing workflow, office practices, and objectives.
Qualifications
  • Doctorate of Medicine: You must hold a Doctorate of Medicine degree.
  • Current Physician License: You must have a current Physician License in the state of Colorado.
  • Current BLS and ACLS: You must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • Other Certifications: Depending on the practice setting or credentialing requirements, you may need additional certifications.
