We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Tennova Home Health, a part of LHC Group. As a trusted member of our healthcare team, you will provide occupational therapy to patients in their homes to restore them to their fullest physical ability.
Key Responsibilities- Follow the established plan of care to instruct and aid patients in evidence-based treatment within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant.
- Observe, record, and report to the supervising OT, the nurse supervisor, and/or the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes in the patient's condition.
- Coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team as appropriate.
- Instruct patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the health care team in the areas of therapy within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant.
- Current OTA licensure in the state of employment.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
