Job Overview

As a Debris Monitor with Insight Global, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient removal of storm-related debris in Orange County. This is a temporary, on-call position that requires flexibility and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and observe loading activities of trucks, bobcats, and other vehicles to ensure compliance with federal regulations and project requirements.
  • Verify that hauling contractors are loading only eligible storm-related debris and not collecting debris from private property.
  • Ensure that contractors pick up all eligible debris and clear branches and other debris from roadways and private driveways.
  • Brief the supervisor on daily activities, debris collection progress, and any issues or problems encountered.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for following trucks.
  • Ability to work long hours, including weekends, and meet driving record qualifications.
  • Good teamwork and cooperation skills, as well as the ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods.
  • Valid I9 documentation and ability to use a smartphone.

Please note that this position is temporary and on an as-needed basis, and employment is on an at-will basis.
