We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our Sustainment Engineering team, you will play a critical role in resolving operational issues at our Ground Missile Defense (GMD) sites and labs.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the interface between our GMD Weapon System and operational sites, providing engineering resolutions and site work instructions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop long-term solutions to reported issues.
- Analyze data and present status and problem resolutions to our GMD MDA customer.
You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that values innovation, excellence, and integrity. Our team is dedicated to advancing scientific discovery and harnessing innovation to make the world a safer place.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, or Master's degree with 3 years of experience in a STEM-related field.
- Active U.S. Government DOD Secret Clearance.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear and executable work instructions.
- Experience in process improvement and presenting technical information to customers.
- Proficiency with SAP HANA, SAP Production Environment, Tableau, Jira, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Professional experience with weapon systems platforms and sustainment of mission-critical systems.
- Experience troubleshooting both hardware and software issues.
- Experience in Agile Scrum team development environments.
- Experience working across disciplines, including Systems Engineering, Integration & Test, Modeling, Simulation, & Analysis, Hardware, Software, Firmware, and their integration.
- Experience working with Department of Defense (DOD) contracts.
- Experience with Engineering Bills of Materials (EBOMs) and Indentured Parts Lists (IPLs) for obsolescence analysis.
This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
