Job Summary

Bloom at Belfair is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by assisting in the preparation and service of meals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Dietary Cooks in the preparation and service of meals, adhering to state and federal regulations.
  • Prepare food items such as salads, desserts, garnishes, bread, and beverages.
  • Serve food to residents as directed.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
  • Report any issues or problems to the Supervisor.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of English language.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
Work Environment

The Dietary Aide will work in a kitchen environment with moderate to loud noise levels. The associate will be required to stand for long periods, walk, climb on a step-stool, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Physical Abilities

The Dietary Aide must be able to perform the following physical abilities:

  • Talk and hear.
  • Walk, climb on a step-stool, and stand for long periods.
  • Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Education and Experience

An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
