Position Overview

Brookline College is seeking a Director of Admissions to lead our enrollment initiatives.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that the Admissions team achieves established objectives and performance benchmarks, contributing to the ongoing success of our institution. The Director will oversee staffing levels, manage lead flow, and collaborate with the Marketing team to implement local marketing strategies. Regular on-site presence at partner facilities is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with partners through calls to provide updates on admissions activities and recruitment strategies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to optimize the enrollment process for partner candidates while adhering to compliance standards.
  • Work alongside campus leadership to ensure a satisfactory enrollment experience for partner candidates.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise Admissions Representatives and support staff, fostering a motivated team environment.
  • Conduct biweekly evaluations of phone calls and monthly assessments of interviews for each Admissions Representative, alongside quarterly Professional Standards evaluations.
  • Provide feedback and coaching by observing interviews and reviewing phone calls to enhance performance.
  • Review inbound recorded calls promptly to ensure accurate lead entry and appropriate call handling.
  • Manage staffing schedules to guarantee comprehensive coverage for inbound leads during operational hours.
  • Monitor public reviews and mystery shopping activities, responding appropriately.
  • Track and report progress towards enrollment goals.
  • Mentor and develop Admissions Representatives identified as future leaders.
  • Collaborate with campus management to ensure resources are in place to meet admissions targets.
  • Coordinate with the Financial Aid department to conduct meetings aimed at maintaining high standards of customer service and conversion rates.
  • Assess admissions policies and procedures in collaboration with the Regional Director of Admissions to ensure alignment with partnership goals.
  • Plan and execute partner-focused events such as recruitment drives and orientations.
  • Facilitate daily standups and weekly team meetings to promote team cohesion and review progress towards objectives.
  • Communicate with prospective students and applicants to provide information on admissions standards.
  • Contribute to budget planning, training sessions, and campus facility management.
  • Ensure adherence to professional dress codes during on-site partner events and virtual meetings.
  • Complete additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Exhibit high integrity and strong business acumen, including numerical and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate reliability and professionalism as a leader in both virtual and in-person settings.
  • Guide candidates throughout the admissions journey.
  • Possess high energy and a commitment to teamwork, with exceptional leadership capabilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, CampusVue, and proficiency in MS Office is essential.
  • Exhibit superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
  • A proven track record in admissions with a minimum of four years of direct enrollment management experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in enrollment management practices.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and implementation skills are essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, with excellent communication skills to engage with diverse individuals.
