Job Title: Operations Supervisor

CEVA Logistics is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee transportation and customs processes, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring compliance with federal and foreign regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Provide responsible supervision and control for all departmental activities, including staff retention and training.
  • Oversee performance statistics, review shipment documentation for accuracy, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Communicate with customs officials to resolve delays and ensure smooth operations.
  • Establish, monitor, and revise policies and procedures for customs clearance operations.
  • Identify areas of concern in clients' import and export processes and communicate with operations manager.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED, minimum four years related experience, and one year supervisory experience.
  • Working knowledge of ITAR, Import Brokerage, Export Compliance, Hazmat Regulations, and recordkeeping.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based, and job-specific software applications.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
