Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Light Equipment Operator to join our team at Phoenix Industrial Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating various types of light equipment, including compact loaders, skid steers, and mini excavators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate light equipment safely and efficiently to excavate, move, and grade material.
  • Perform maintenance duties, including cleaning, greasing, and oiling machines.
  • Coordinate machine actions with other activities and position or move loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members.
  • Communicate clearly and listen to ensure full comprehension of job duties and safety regulations.
  • Travel to different jobsites as required.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in heavy equipment operation.
  • Knowledge of safety programs and project-specific regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Physical stamina to work up to 12 hours per shift in varying temperatures and outside conditions.
