The position of Continuous Improvement Leader is essential for advancing Lean Practices within our organization. Collaborating closely with the Continuous Improvement (CI) team, the selected candidate will assist in facilitating Kaizen Events and enhancing processes throughout the company. This role is vital in fostering a culture of Lean manufacturing excellence and ongoing improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate Kaizen activities, including the execution of Kaizen events.
- Gather and prepare data for Kaizen events, ensuring the sustainability of improvements after the events.
- Deliver training sessions on Lean principles and methodologies.
- Encourage Continuous Improvement practices across the organization.
- Identify opportunities for Lean enhancements and develop actionable plans.
- Implement visual management systems and work collaboratively with Lean team members.
- Support company-wide Safety initiatives.
- Carry out additional assigned responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- 4-7 years of experience in Continuous Improvement.
- Expertise in leading strategic Kaizen Events and providing training.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
