Job Title: Operations Process Engineer

Kinetik is strategically positioned in the heart of the Delaware Basin, a rapidly growing area for oil and gas development. As an Operations Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing the necessary services to bring natural gas, natural gas liquids, and crude oil to market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide process and operational support to plant operations.
  • Manage and input MOCs for process facilities.
  • Participate in PHAs for PSM facilities.
  • Maintain P&IDs and Cause and Effect charts for all facilities.
  • Support the design of new gas processing plants.
  • Build and maintain ProMax simulation models.
  • Manage, scope, and execute projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in process engineering in gas processing facilities.
Working Conditions:
  • Field work involves walking and standing on rough terrain with uneven and slippery surfaces.
  • Regular exposure to moderate to loud noises from machinery.
  • Regular driving to other field facilities within the assigned region.
  • Regular use of a computer to create, record, store, revise, and save documentation.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
  • Ability to work effectively in all working conditions.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 25-50 lbs. in a safe manner.
  • Ability to talk, listen, and speak clearly on a telephone and in-person.
  • Ability to possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
  • Must live within a 150-mile radius of Pecos, TX.
