Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Zobility. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our manufacturing programs and tools, and contributing to the development of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of manufacturing processes, including design, modification, and testing of methods and equipment requirements.
  • Conduct evaluations and suggest designs to improve manufacturing processes, including production flow, assembly methods, and production equipment.
  • Mitigate waste and maximize efficiency by implementing lean processes and conducting time studies.
  • Review, update, and write detailed process work instructions and standard work.
  • Prepare 3D models and data for drawing change requests to customers.
  • Prepare First Article Inspection reports (FAIs) for new parts process changes.
  • Update Capability monitoring data and maintain databases in Solumina and Net Inspect.
  • Prepare OEE spreadsheets and presentations for Cell performance monitoring and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Industry experience of 2-3 years preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a LEAN environment and a familiarity with the methodology would be a plus.
  • Other preferred qualifications include experience with Autocad, Solid Works, or NX, Advanced Excel, and SAP.
