Job Title: Subsurface Utility Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Subsurface Utility Engineer to join our team at T2 Utility Engineers. As a Subsurface Utility Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting utility investigations, using advanced technologies to locate and designate underground utilities, and providing quality data and professional insight to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct utility investigations using SUE utility locating and designating equipment
  • Operate heavy tools and equipment, including pipe and cable locators and non-destructive vacuum excavation
  • Drive commercial motor vehicles and perform daily basic vehicle maintenance
  • Complete daily logs of work performed and perform safety set-up and maintenance of traffic operations
  • Assist with survey and data collection tasks and perform daily routine maintenance of equipment
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and obtain a DOT medical card for CMV operation
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work outdoors in all climates
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time and have good oral communication skills and attention to detail
