About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Restaurant Executive Chef to join our team at Brasserie Margot. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen department and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a high-volume, fine dining environment and will possess a deep understanding of French cuisine and techniques. You will be a strong leader and communicator, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the kitchen department and ensure that all culinary operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement menus that are consistent with the company's culinary standards and that meet the needs of our guests.
  • Manage food costs and labor expenses to ensure that they are within budget.
  • Train and develop the skills of your team members to ensure that they are able to deliver exceptional results.
  • Ensure that all kitchen operations are in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all aspects of the guest experience are met.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a high-volume, fine dining environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing kitchen operations and leading a team.
  • Deep understanding of French cuisine and techniques.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred.
