Position Summary

We are looking for a meticulous and systematic individual to take on the role of Inventory Lead at Little Bipsy. This position is essential for maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring that our retail space is consistently stocked and attractive to our clientele. The Inventory Lead will oversee the management of stock, guarantee precise inventory counts, and enhance the overall effectiveness of store operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and verify incoming shipments, ensuring accurate inventory counts and quality checks.
  • Maintain organization within the stockroom and sales area, ensuring items are stored correctly and are easily accessible.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to confirm accurate stock levels.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of comprehensive inventory counts and reconciliations.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure the sales floor is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Identify and report any inventory discrepancies, damages, or loss prevention concerns.
  • Support merchandising efforts and visual displays as required.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by helping customers locate products and addressing inquiries.
  • Adhere to all safety and operational protocols to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.

Keyholder Duties:

  • Open and close the store, ensuring compliance with all operational procedures.
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cash drawers and bank deposits.
  • Act as the primary contact for any security concerns or emergencies during shifts.
  • Assist the store manager with daily operations and take on leadership roles in their absence.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in retail or inventory management is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail are essential.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Basic mathematical skills for inventory management and reconciliations.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems or a willingness to learn.
  • Physical ability to lift and move merchandise (up to 50 lbs).
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
