Inventory Supervisor

Position Summary
We are looking for a meticulous and organized professional to take charge of our inventory management at Little Bipsy. The Inventory Lead will play a crucial role in ensuring that our merchandise is accurately tracked and our store remains fully stocked and inviting for our clientele. This position involves overseeing the inventory processes, maintaining optimal stock levels, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming merchandise shipments, ensuring accurate inventory counts and quality checks.
- Maintain an orderly and efficient stockroom and sales area, ensuring products are stored correctly and are easily accessible.
- Conduct regular inventory assessments and audits to maintain precise stock records.
- Assist in organizing and executing store-wide inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Work closely with the sales team to guarantee that the sales floor is well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damages, and issues related to loss prevention.
- Support merchandising efforts and assist with visual displays as required.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by helping customers locate products and addressing their inquiries.
- Adhere to all safety and operational protocols to maintain a secure and efficient workplace.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.
Keyholder Duties:
- Open and close the store, ensuring all security and operational procedures are followed.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cash drawers, petty cash, and bank deposits.
- Act as the primary contact for any security concerns or emergencies during assigned shifts.
- Assist the store manager with daily operations and take on leadership roles in their absence.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in retail or inventory management is advantageous.
- Strong organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and reconciliations.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or a willingness to learn.
- Physical ability to lift and transport merchandise (up to 50 lbs).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
