Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Inspector to join our team. As a Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects meet the required standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections and testing of construction materials and projects to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Conduct field and laboratory testing of soils, asphalt, concrete, and other materials used in construction projects.
  • Track and document test results and inspection observations, including contractor performance and progress.
  • Provide direction and coordinate the work of other inspectors as needed.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in a safe and professional manner, promoting a positive image of the organization.
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent with math training sufficient to perform field and laboratory tests.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in construction inspection and testing, commensurate with the duties described above.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Certifications in Aggregate, Concrete, HMA, Density, and Concrete Strength, or ability to obtain within 2 years.
  • Valid state of Michigan driver's license.
