About the Role: As a key member of our team, you will partner with our Director of Quantitative Research to develop and implement quantitative research and trading infrastructure. You will lead a team of software engineers and provide hands-on leadership on front-office and back-office trading systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of Automated Trading Systems: Design, develop, and implement new automated trading systems and simulation environments.
  • Technical Direction: Steer the overall technical direction for trading system development and infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Collaboration with Quantitative Research Team: Partner with the quantitative research team to understand their goals and objectives, and provide technical guidance and support.
  • Infrastructure Design: Design and specify storage and compute farm infrastructure to support continuously increasing scale and sophistication.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, physics, or computer science.
  • Experience: At least five years' post-degree work experience, including several years in a quantitative trading environment.
  • Technical Skills: A talent for algorithm design and optimization, fluency in C++ and familiarity with Python.
