Job Summary

As a Water Treatment Operator with the Government Jobs, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of drinking water for residents, industry, and the general public. This position involves performing technical tasks in maintaining, adjusting, and monitoring activities such as chemical flows, pump operations, and sample testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and operate water purification equipment to produce high-quality drinking water
  • Monitor and adjust chemical flows, pump operations, and sample testing to ensure compliance with EPA regulatory standards
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on water treatment equipment
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operations and regulatory compliance
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in water treatment operations or a related field
  • Knowledge of EPA regulatory standards and water treatment processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
