About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Radiology Department at Next Move Healthcare. In this role, you will perform high-quality nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients while delivering accurate and timely diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with exam protocols, ensuring compliance with system and regulatory standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients using AIDET principles to ensure correct exams and establish rapport.
  • Prepare patients and the procedure area, including positioning patients, adjusting equipment, and setting exposure factors.
  • Adhere to safety requirements, infection control, and radiation protocols to protect patients and staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of imaging equipment, collaborating with engineers and physicists for optimal performance.
  • Accurately document patient information, procedure details, and maintain medical imaging records according to department policies.
  • Provide first aid and emergency care when necessary, ensuring customer satisfaction by minimizing wait times and providing courteous service.
  • Serve as a preceptor, providing training and guidance to new team members on procedures and initiatives.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Qualifications
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT-N) or by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (CNMT).
  • Ability to serve as a preceptor and provide quality training to new team members.
  • Ability to take call, if required.
