**Shift Type:** 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
**Shifts Per Week:** 3 shifts/week (36 hours total)
**Scheduled Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Hourly Pay Rate:** $44/hour
**Job Overview:**
Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialists play a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. As a Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist at Next Move Healthcare, you will be responsible for performing high-quality nuclear medicine procedures, utilizing AIDET principles to effectively communicate with patients, and maintaining equipment and work areas to uphold cleanliness and quality standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine procedures according to established protocols, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety standards.
- Utilize AIDET principles to effectively communicate with patients, confirming service requirements and establishing rapport.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and adjusting equipment controls for optimal imaging.
- Follow safety and infection-control protocols diligently, including proper sterile techniques during invasive procedures.
- Maintain equipment and work area to uphold cleanliness and quality standards; assist in troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Screen individuals entering the department according to approved policies to ensure safety.
**Qualifications:**
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
- Experience: Less than 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine.
