Salary and Benefits

Job Summary

This role supports the development of family-friendly practices by providing a parent's perspective to routine operations and program development. As a Family Partner I, you will work directly with youth and adults, utilizing your personal and professional experiences to establish credibility and infuse hope for a better future.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide peer support to parents and caregivers, leveraging your life experience to empower them in making decisions and developing plans based on their needs.
  • Coach families to use their voice to direct treatment, ensuring they have access, choice, and involvement throughout the service delivery process.
  • Collaborate with Child and Family team (CFT) members to ensure parents and caregivers have a strong connection to the team and can effectively contribute to decision-making.
Key Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years as a parent or caregiver of a special needs child.
  • The ability to articulate the experience and perspective of a parent/caregiver or relative of a child with complex needs involving mental health, child protective, or probation services.
  • Familiarity with therapeutic crisis intervention and agency training.
