Position Summary:


• Oversee traffic management at designated toll plazas to maintain an efficient flow of vehicles.

Reporting Structure:


• Reports directly to the Deputy Assistant Manager of Tolling Experience.


• Collaborates with other toll collection personnel and supervisors across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:


• Execute all tasks safely, adhering to both internal and external safety protocols, and support the safety culture of ITR Concession Co LLC by attending all required safety and compliance training.


• Uphold the core values of ITR Concession Co LLC: Customer Service, Respect, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork (CREST).


• Monitor for safety concerns and take necessary corrective actions.


• Directly supervise and manage the performance of seasonal and temporary toll collectors, including responsibilities such as hiring recommendations, disciplinary actions, payroll approvals, and conducting performance evaluations.


• Manage traffic flow at assigned toll plazas, assisting customers both in-person and remotely.


• Schedule personnel in accordance with expected traffic volumes to ensure efficient operations.


• Make staffing adjustments as required based on real-time events or directives.


• Conduct inspections of toll plazas at various times throughout the day and night.


• Adjust toll lane configurations to facilitate smooth traffic flow.


• Prepare weekly lane schedules to align with operational demands.


• Monitor the condition of ITR Concession Co LLC property and report issues using designated trouble ticket software.


• Utilize sound judgment to determine the necessity of interventions to fulfill responsibilities to customers and the organization.


• Manage supply inventories effectively.


• Ensure the functionality of toll gates and lanes, which may include minor software resets.


• Provide assistance to disabled vehicles, respond to accidents, and administer first aid when necessary.


• Authorize and manage overtime as needed to meet operational requirements.


• Be prepared to respond to emergency situations.


• Handle tasks related to electronic toll collection as assigned, addressing issues with phone systems, emails, and unpaid tolls.


• Utilize various tolling software systems, including:

o BOTS

o Microsoft Suite

o Adobe

o Power BI

o Zabbix

o EPX

o DOT Look Up

o Vara, VNC, VPN

o VueWorks


• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:


• High school diploma or GED.


• Proven organizational skills.


• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.


• Ability to provide on-the-job training for new hires.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.


• Capability to apply company policies consistently while considering the best interests of the organization.


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while maintaining a strong customer focus.


• Physical capability to lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs, along with other physical tasks involving pushing, pulling, and lifting.


• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Preferred Experience:


• 2-4 years of supervisory experience.

Working Conditions:


• This position involves frequent physical activity, including:

 Heavy standing, walking, and sitting.

 Extensive talking and hearing.

 Medium physical effort.

 Significant computer usage.

 Work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings.

 Frequent phone and radio communication.

 Travel may be required up to 20% of the time.
