JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician III

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Maintenance Technician III plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of production equipment within our facility. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at maintaining high standards of operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct regular maintenance and thorough inspections of production machinery.
  • Ensure adherence to Food Safety and Quality Management protocols.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Oversee the installation of new machinery and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma accompanied by vocational training in Electrical and Mechanical disciplines.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Certification in Hazwoper, SCBA, and First Aid/CPR is preferred.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong team-oriented approach with excellent communication abilities.
  • Capability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
  • Proficient in basic mathematics and possesses mechanical/electrical skills.
  • Physical capability to lift over 50 lbs and adapt to various working conditions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Work is conducted in a food processing facility characterized by elevated noise levels.
  • Physical requirements include frequent standing and lifting tasks.
  • Utilization of hand tools, forklifts, and welding apparatus is necessary.
