Senior Audit and Assurance Manager Job Opportunity

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Audit and Assurance Manager to join a reputable public firm in the Cleveland area. The ideal candidate will possess a CPA certification and have over 5 years of public accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audit and assurance engagements for a diverse client base, ensuring adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest quality of audit work, focusing on risk assessment, technical expertise, and effective communication.
  • Client Relations: Foster strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and addressing complex audit issues with professionalism and tact.
  • Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of audit professionals, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and assess risks, developing strategies to mitigate them effectively and minimize potential threats.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay current with auditing standards, accounting principles, and industry regulations, providing guidance and support to the team as needed.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed audit reports and findings to clients and senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience, with some leadership experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
