Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care to patients undergoing pre and post-operative procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs
- Monitor and report patient progress to healthcare teams
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa
- Minimum of two years of experience in pre and post-operative surgical care
- Knowledge of nursing process and its application
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English
- Skilled in post-operative care of infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient groups
- ACLS and PALS certification
- Nursing continuing education units appropriate to clinical assignment
