Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and log routes for morning and afternoon delivery trucks, ensuring timely delivery commitments.
  • Load and unload products, securing loads and using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and lift gates.
  • Complete and maintain paperwork, including vendor pick-ups, customer returns, inter-branch transfers, and truck logs.
  • Provide real-time updates to Dispatchers, including delivery times, signature capture, picture capture, and package refusals.
  • Ensure truck cleanliness and maintenance, including daily cleaning and scheduling repairs or inspections.
  • Support warehouse operations as needed.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience driving a 26' box truck or similar vehicle.
  • Territorial knowledge of Monroe County and surrounding areas.
  • Ability to climb on and off the back of a truck using side steps.
  • Pass a motor vehicle and background check.
  • Reliable daily transportation to the branch location.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • This role requires flexibility in hours from 6AM until daily deliveries are complete.
  • Ability to sit for long periods and lift 50-75 pounds.
