The Retail Operations Supervisor is responsible for assisting store management in overseeing daily operations and enhancing workflow efficiency. This role supports team development initiatives, provides training for staff, manages loss prevention strategies, upholds safety standards, and embodies the core values of GoodwillSR.


Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and report on the store's financial assets, including cash registers and deposits.
- Supervise team members to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Delegate tasks effectively among store personnel.
- Foster an environment that encourages team members to meet their performance goals.
- Achieve or surpass daily sales targets.
- Build relationships with donors and customers to enhance community engagement.
- Assist customers with their purchases and pricing inquiries.
- Maintain a customer-friendly sales floor layout.
- Ensure compliance with pricing policies and procedures.
- Understand item pricing strategies and promotions.
- Participate in the hiring and onboarding process for new employees.
- Adhere to all safety protocols.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

In this role, you will be cross-trained and expected to gain knowledge across all areas of retail operations.

This is a full-time position, requiring an average of 32-40 hours per week, with hours varying based on business needs.


Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
- Warehouse experience is a plus.
