Key Responsibilities:- Safety Focused Management: Ensure all traffic control and locating activities comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards. Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Operational Oversight: Manage and coordinate daily operations of traffic control and locating services, including the deployment of personnel, equipment, and resources.
- Project Management: Oversee and support the planning and execution of traffic control plans for various projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications. Oversee and support the execution of locate tickets as requested by customers, ensuring adherence to ticket time requirements.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and develop a team of customer service focused professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Customer Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Resource Management: Oversee the allocation and maintenance of equipment and materials. Ensure that resources are utilized efficiently and effectively.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base and service offerings. Develop and implement strategies to enhance market presence and grow revenue.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and review operational reports, performance metrics, and documentation. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve operational challenges and emergencies in a timely manner. Implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Traffic Management, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications in traffic control management are a plus.
- Experience: Experience in traffic control services or a related field preferred, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Proven experience in business development and customer relationship management.
