Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver High-Quality Patient Care
    • Implement the nursing process to provide safe, efficient, and age-specific care to patients and their families.
    • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of infusion therapy and its associated treatments.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams
    • Work closely with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress and develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Provide Education and Support
    • Offer education and support to patients and their families on infusion therapy, treatment options, and disease management.
    • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of patient education resources and materials.
  • Maintain Accurate Records
    • Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Diploma in Nursing or Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Experience
    • 1+ years of RN experience, oncology preferred
  • Licenses and Certifications
    • Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio Upon Hire
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) May be required based on clinical area standards
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) May be required based on clinical area standards
