Mechanical Design Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Design Specialist to join our team at Southern States, LLC. This is a full-time position with an estimated annual salary of $70,000 - $90,000.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, with experience in creating detailed drawings and bills of material. Responsibilities include:
- Designing and preparing precision drawings for engineering and fabrication purposes
- Preparing Bills of Material for assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Reviewing and processing production orders
- Making electrical, mechanical, and structural calculations associated with drawing preparation
- Collaborating with senior designers and application engineers to initiate changes to existing drawings
Required skills and qualifications include an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience, at least one year of design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and good mechanical skills.
