About the Role:

As an MRI Imaging Specialist at SSM Health, you will be responsible for operating a scanner to obtain high-quality images used to diagnose and treat various pathologies. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
  • Select anatomic and technical parameters to produce high-quality images.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transferring images as needed.
  • Administer contrast media and medications within the scope of practice and applicable regulations.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
  • Maintain a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a radiology or MRI certification program.
  • No experience required, but a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification.
  • ARRT-MR Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification within 12 months of hire date.
