About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Regency House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our building and grounds, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Oversee all aspects of building and grounds maintenance, including mechanical and structural repairs, esthetics, and cleanliness.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, reward, and discipline maintenance technicians, as well as oversee housekeeping and laundry personnel.
  • Scheduling and Budgeting: Develop and maintain department schedules and work orders, as well as manage budgets and procurement of necessary supplies.
  • Quality Control: Regularly inspect building and grounds to ensure proper repair, cleanliness, and quality of services.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety, sanitary, and health codes, as well as fire codes.
Requirements
  • Education: Trade school graduate and/or license journeyman mechanic preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years in plant engineering and/or skilled trade, with 3+ years in institutional housekeeping and laundry services (if applicable).
  • Skills: Proven leadership abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to read, write, and comprehend English, and ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
