Job Summary

The Salvation Army Central Territory is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for performing HR management duties, including employee training, benefits administration, and payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate employee records and perform ADP data entry
  • Coordinate with Command HR Department for new hires, changes in status, and terminations
  • Investigate and report incidents, including injuries, accidents, and grievances
  • Participate in Safety Committee meetings and support safety programs
  • Administer employee benefits and assist with benefit registration and claims
  • Provide HR support to management and supervisory staff
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and coordinate with supervisors for timesheet submission and approval
  • Implement and conduct HR training for management and supervisory staff

Requirements:

  • Associate degree and two years of experience in HR Management or Business Management
  • Knowledge of workers compensation and OSHA regulations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of ADP timekeeping software

Working Conditions:

This role will be based in an office setting with occasional travel to Family Store and warehouse locations.
