Certified Medication Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Certified Medication Assistant to join our team at Madeira Healthcare Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications in accordance with physician's orders and state/federal regulations.
- Display knowledge of medication side effects, interactions, and nursing implications.
- Account for controlled drugs and report any discrepancies.
- Chart medications, medication omissions, and other pertinent observations.
- Maintain medication inventory and prepare monthly records.
- Provide personal care and treatment functions for residents.
- Perform basic nursing care functions as required.
- Create a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents.
- Maintain resident documentation records.
- Attend training and educational programs to maintain certification and enhance care quality.
