Job Title: Medical Assistant - Certified

TriHealth is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant - Certified to join our team. As a Medical Assistant - Certified, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physicians and clinical staff.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant - Certified will assist physicians and clinical staff with patient care, perform various medical procedures, and maintain accurate medical records. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and performing various medical procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient charts and laboratory results.
  • Perform various medical procedures, including injections, venipuncture, and EKGs, according to established hospital policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operations.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved medical assisting program.
  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification, through AMT, NCCT, or NHA.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification, through AAMA.
  • Current, active RN or LPN licensure, or Respiratory Therapist or Technician credential.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a physician office or related setting.
Working Conditions:

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent standing, walking, and lifting.
