Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Manager to lead our Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) program. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing engineering resources, interfacing with customers, developing program plans, and leading design reviews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate 100% on-time print release for all build phases as identified in the SEWS development timing plan.
  • Achieve internal design and development expectations through the Product Realization Process.
  • Coordinate and facilitate manufacturing design reviews and master sample reviews.
  • Create and maintain a Design Issues list (Bucket List) and lead meetings for all build phases.
  • Comprehend, mark up, and sign off 2D WH drawings.
  • Perform cost management to ensure all costs are documented in WERS and communicated with sales and business partners.
  • Develop and maintain strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills to support day-to-day activities and customer requests.
  • Participate in and support cross-functional team meetings, document and track lessons learned, and distribute as necessary.
  • Interface directly with external customers, including PMTs, PATs, customer engineers, and launch teams.
  • Interface with systems engineers and 3D designers to develop and validate WH designs.
  • Be fully capable of navigating through WERS and initiating and processing Concerns, Notices, and Alerts.
  • Manage design changes through weekly change management meetings and CMM distribution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree along with 8-10 years of progressive experience, including 2-4 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • 4-year BSEE/BSME or equivalent degree with experience as a WH Release Engineer.
  • 6+ years of WH (EDS Engineer) experience, with Ford experience preferred.
