Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and review financial information for clients, including business and individual tax returns.
  • Manage client relationships and act as a liaison between internal staff and leaders.
  • Facilitate advanced tax research, resolve complex tax issues, and handle special projects.
  • Lead and manage multiple tax engagements from start to finish, ensuring they are completed within budget and timeline.
  • Develop, motivate, and train staff, acting as a mentor and role model.
  • Participate in firm marketing, recruiting, team-building, and similar efforts.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in accounting, with public accounting experience preferred.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting for Audit or Tax, or a related Business Degree for Consulting.
  • Must be a CPA for Audit, and may need equivalent certification for other disciplines.
  • Must maintain required CPE credits annually.
