Procurement Operations Manager

Philip Morris International is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Operations Manager to join our team. As a critical member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for establishing and leading category sourcing strategies aligned to business strategies and priorities.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category sourcing strategies to drive commercial excellence and deliver superior value to the business.
- Manage relationships with third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end sourcing strategies aligned to global and functional strategies.
- Position the account role as a strategic procurement partner to internal and external business partners.
- Adapt and implement coherent global and/or regional category sourcing strategies based on business requirements and supply market trends.
- Drive strategic negotiation and contracting excellence to secure best value and lowest procurement cost.
- Improve team performance by setting clear objectives, reviewing achievements, and providing development opportunities.
- Establish global/regional supplier-relationships management practices with major suppliers and industry leaders.
- Perform best-in-class supplier evaluation and negotiation to bring best value to Philip Morris International.
- Drive cost category management and demand management in collaboration with the Global Procurement function.
- Implement sustainability ambitions in relevant categories and supply base.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Economics or Engineering preferred.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain/Industry.
- FMCG/consumer electronics/Pharma familiarity with regulatory environments.
- Excellent knowledge and network of the industry, including supplier base, trends, economic drivers, and policy.
- Solid experience in managing relationships with third parties and summarizing sourcing strategies.
- Exceptional local Senior Management level stakeholder relationship management.
- Confirmed leadership skills, results-oriented, and ability to work in a collaborative setup.
- Excellent negotiation and contracting skills, strong business and financial acumen.
- Self-starter with the ability to operate and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English.
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
