Position Summary:
The Product Manager will assess industrial applications, deliver product solutions, and cultivate robust relationships with our Vendor Partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and sales assistance within the industrial engineering sector.
- Engage in sales meetings and coordinate appointments with prospective clients.
- Facilitate technical training sessions at two product training meetings annually.
- Identify root causes of potential machine failures and devise corrective actions using appropriate product applications.
- Meet collaboratively established annual corporate sales objectives for all products relevant to the industrial market.
- Train sales personnel on product applications and features.
- Promote a collaborative team atmosphere by supporting colleagues.
- Maintain a tidy and secure workspace while optimizing space usage.
- Execute additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
The following qualifications are representative of the education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this role:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
Experience:
- A minimum of 1-5 years of experience in the Industrial Engineering sector.
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in selecting safety scanners, detection sensors, distance sensors, machine vision, and motion control sensors for various industrial automation applications.
- Self-driven with strong customer relations and sales capabilities.
- Ability to solve industrial application challenges effectively.
- Knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical systems pertinent to the industrial field.
- Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively with engineers and technical designers to provide suitable customer solutions.
- Mechanically inclined with excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Physical Demands:
This role is primarily sedentary, allowing for comfortable seating while performing tasks. However, some mobility may be required, including transporting items such as laptops, printers, and small components.
Work Environment:
While fulfilling the primary responsibilities, the employee will typically work in a general office setting. Occasional overnight travel may be necessary, and work outside standard business hours may be required periodically.
