The Bristal Assisted Living is a premier senior care organization seeking a talented and experienced Cook to join our Food Services team. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents and employees.
Responsibilities- Assist in preparing, seasoning, and cooking meals for residents and employees under the direction of the Director of Food Service or Sous Chef.
- Ensure all procedures are conducted following required health department and company regulations.
- Verify food temperatures prior to meal service and garnish plates before they leave the kitchen area.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in food handling and preparation, sanitation, and safety standards for institutions and/or restaurants.
- Culinary or cooking school experience/courses preferred; a high school degree is required.
- Excellent ability to prioritize tasks, deliver top-notch customer service, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to understand the English language and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to follow all rules, regulations, policies, and sanitary standards established by management.
We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development. Our benefits package includes comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plan.
