Head Chef Manager

Morrison Healthcare, a leading national food and nutrition services company, is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations and direct meal preparation in accordance with corporate programs.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality meals are prepared and served to patients while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

• Menu Planning: Develop and implement regular and modified menus that align with established guidelines, incorporating seasonal ingredients and catering trends.
• Staff Training: Train kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling practices, and equipment operation, ensuring compliance with Company and regulatory standards.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Establish and maintain cleaning schedules for equipment, storage areas, and workspaces, promoting a clean and organized environment.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure optimal stock management within established guidelines.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations, as well as departmental sanitation procedures.

• AAS or equivalent experience
• Three to five years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
• Familiarity with computers and software applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and internet platforms
