Starting compensation ranges from $22.50 to $30 per hour, depending on qualifications. ELM provides comprehensive training using state-of-the-art equipment, including a company vehicle to facilitate independent work.
Utilizing our advanced LaunchPoint software system, we aim to streamline operations, making tasks straightforward and efficient for our specialists. As a Utility Location Specialist, you will play a vital role in your community by accurately marking utilities to prevent excavation damage, ensuring the integrity of gas, electric, and communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a daily route of locate requests using your company-provided vehicle.
- Safely and accurately locate and mark underground utilities, including electric and gas lines, using appropriate marking tools.
- Complete necessary digital documentation and paperwork.
- Receive daily assignments via a mobile device, starting and ending your workday from your residence.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls as needed.
- Participate in occasional overtime and weekend on-call rotations.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Note: This position is classified as Safety-Sensitive and adheres to all Federal Department of Transportation regulations. The use of marijuana, whether for medical or recreational purposes, is prohibited.
