Job Summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Cashier Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service with a positive, professional attitude, addressing all customer needs and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Transaction Processing: Accurately and efficiently ring on register, process layaways, returns, and exchanges, and perform other tasks as assigned by manager.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, maintain a clean and organized sales floor, and support store initiatives.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment, including working varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think critically and resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Time Management: Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
