Job Summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Cashier Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service with a positive, professional attitude, addressing all customer needs while maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
  • Transaction Processing: Accurately and efficiently ring on register, process layaways, returns, and exchanges, and perform other tasks as assigned by manager.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, maintain a clean and organized sales floor, and support store initiatives.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment, including working a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in transactions, inventory management, and other tasks.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
