Position Overview:

We are in search of a talented and driven AWS Software Engineer to enhance our innovative team within the consumer products sector. This permanent role presents a unique chance to engage in groundbreaking projects that are transforming the industry. You will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-based applications and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
As an AWS Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Crafting and developing robust, scalable, and secure cloud applications utilizing AWS services such as EC2 and IAM.
  • Implementing user authentication and management solutions through Amazon Cognito.
  • Writing, testing, and debugging Python code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Utilizing Docker for the creation, deployment, and operation of applications.
  • Working with Linux-based systems for application development and deployment.
  • Engaging in the complete application lifecycle, with a focus on coding, debugging, and cloud deployment.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features while enhancing existing ones.
  • Ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and reliability of applications and platforms.
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues related to application development and deployment.
  • Staying informed about the latest industry trends and technologies to keep our systems competitive.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the AWS Software Engineer role should have:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, focusing on cloud applications.
  • Demonstrated experience with AWS services, particularly EC2 and IAM.
  • Proficient in implementing user management and authentication solutions with Amazon Cognito.
  • Strong programming capabilities in Python.
  • Experience working with Linux-based systems.
  • Familiarity with Docker for application creation, deployment, and management.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Capability to work effectively both in teams and independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of new technologies and industry trends.
  • AWS certification is advantageous.
